Efiplat 10 Tablet is a medication prescribed for individuals who have recently had a heart attack or are experiencing severe heartrelated chest pain specifically unstable angina and have undergone a heart stenting procedure Its primary purpose is to prevent the occurrence of serious heartrelated complications such as another heart attack stroke or the formation of blood clots in the stents This medicine may be prescribed in combination with aspirin or another antiplatelet medication It can be taken with or without food and should be taken consistently at the same time every day Even if you are feeling well it is important to continue taking this medicine as prescribed Discontinuing the medication can increase the risk of another heart attack or stroke The most frequently observed side effect of this medicine is bleeding which can manifest as bruising nosebleeds blood in urine or stools blackcolored stools or heavierthanusual periods in women If you cut or injure yourself it may take longer for the bleeding to stop Generally these episodes of bleeding are mild and resolve on their own However if the bleeding persists or causes concern it is important to consult your doctor immediately This medicine is not suitable for certain individuals It should not be taken if there is bleeding in any part of the body such as a stomach ulcer or bleeding within the brain or if there are severe liver problems Prior to taking this medication inform your doctor if you have ever experienced issues with blood clotting or if you have recently undergone serious injury or surgery In some cases this medicine may need to be temporarily stopped before planned surgery or dental treatment Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this medication

What is the most important information I need to know about Prasukind?

Prasukind may cause serious or life-threatening bleeding. Moreover, you may bruise easily and it may take longer than usual for bleeding to stop even if you have a minor injury such as a small cut while shaving. Get emergency medical help if you notice excessive or prolonged bleeding. You should inform your doctor if you notice black tarry stools or if there is blood in the urine. Be vigilant on any signs of stroke such as sudden numbness or weakness (one side or both sides of the body), difficulty walking, mental confusion, slurred speech, dizziness and any unexplained headache. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop any such signs of stroke as stroke is an uncommon side effect of Prasukind and needs urgent medical attention as it can otherwise be fatal.
