Domperidone has been linked to an increased risk of serious ventricular arrhythmias, including potentially life threatening arrhythmias like torsades de pointes. In cases of severe renal impairment, the dosage of it may need adjustment, as its elimination may be prolonged in individuals with impaired kidney function.
