Cytolog 600 Tablet is prescribed either alone or in combination with other medication to achieve maximum benefits It is recommended to take the tablet with food or as instructed by your doctor Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water In case you experience vomiting within 30 minutes of taking the tablet inform your doctor or take another tablet It may take up to 24 hours for the medicine to take effect and during this time you may experience bleeding Common side effects of this medicine include nausea vomiting uterine cramps diarrhea infection following an abortion and uterine bleeding If these side effects bother you or appear serious inform your doctor There may be ways to reduce or prevent these side effects Generally vaginal bleeding may last for 12 days If it lasts longer than 12 days or if you experience severe abdominal pain inform your doctor Before taking this medicine inform your doctor if you have had an ectopic pregnancy in the past or if you are breastfeeding or using an intrauterine device Your doctor should also be aware of all other medications you are taking as some of them may reduce the effectiveness or alter the way this medicine works It is important to avoid strenuous activities such as heavy exercise running and driving during the abortion process as it can affect the bleeding Your doctor may perform an ultrasound or pelvic examination to confirm the completion of the abortion
