Cipro CF Plus Cream contains Ciprofloxacin, an antibiotic, Clotrimazole, an antifungal agent, and Fluocinolone Acetonide, a corticosteroid. Together, they offer a multifaceted approach to tackling skin infections and inflammation.
Ciprofloxacin combats bacterial infections by targeting and destroying the bacteria. Clotrimazole effectively treats fungal infections by disrupting fungal cell membranes.
Fluocinolone Acetonide reduces inflammation, alleviating symptoms like redness and swelling.
The medication is for external use only. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully. Clean and dry the affected area before application, as per label directions. After applying, wash your hands thoroughly, unless your hands are being treated. Apply a thin layer of the medication to the affected skin areas. Avoid applying the cream to open wounds or mucous membranes. Stop using the medication if irritation or hypersensitivity occurs.
Side effects such as skin irritation, redness, burning sensation, or skin dryness. If these symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice.
If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it's almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.
