Candid 1% Cream
How it works
Clotrimazole works by disrupting the production of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. This weakens the membrane, causing essential cell contents to leak out, ultimately killing the fungus and stopping the infection from spreading further.
How to take
Apply a thin layer of the clotrimazole cream to clean, dry skin on the affected area. Gently massage until absorbed. Use as directed, typically once or twice daily. Avoid contact with eyes.
Adverse drug effect
Candid 1% Cream may cause skin irritation or a burning sensation. Monitor for signs of severe allergic reactions like swelling, difficulty breathing, or skin rash. Consult your doctor if side effects occur or persist, and seek immediate medical attention for serious allergic reactions.
