Arip MT 20 Tablet

Arip MT 20 Tablet 15s is an atypical antipsychotic, that is FDA-approved for managing psychosis in schizophrenia and for treating acute manic episodes in bipolar disorder. It is also used in autism spectrum disorder to reduce irritability and in major depressive disorder and Tourette syndrome as adjunctive therapy. Additionally, its long-acting formulation aids in the maintenance therapy of chronic schizophrenia and bipolar I disorder.

It operates by interacting with neurotransmitters in the brain, specifically dopamine and serotonin receptors. It acts as a partial agonist at D2 and 5HT1a receptors, providing stabilization of these neurotransmitters in critical brain regions. This unique mechanism helps manage positive, negative, and cognitive symptoms associated with various psychiatric conditions.

While aripiprazole shares some side effects with other antipsychotic medications, it is known for having a more favorable profile.
