Does Dubatran affect the liver?
Unlike other anticoagulants, Dubatran usually does not affect the functioning of the liver. But long-term use of Dubatran may increase the chances of mild liver injury in patients with elevated liver enzymes. However, the overall chances of developing any such problem are lower than other anticoagulants. It is advised that you inform your doctor if you have a history of liver disease before starting this medicine.
