Take PalidoOD 3 Tablet ER with or without food but it is recommended to take it at the same time every day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in your body Follow your doctors instructions regarding the dose and duration of the medication If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember However do not stop taking this medication suddenly without consulting your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms Discontinue the medicine immediately if you experience Neuroleptic malignant syndrome NMS which is characterized by fever muscle rigidity and altered consciousness Some common side effects of this medicine include nystagmus involuntary eye movement and tremor It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness so avoid activities that require mental focus such as driving until you know how it affects you Be cautious if you have diabetes as this medicine may increase the risk of developing it It is advisable to monitor your glucose levels regularly Inform your doctor if you experience any unusual changes in mood or behavior new or worsening depression or suicidal thoughts while taking this medicine
