This medication is a blend of two types of drugs NonSteroidal AntiInflammatory Drugs NSAIDs and Proton Pump Inhibitors PPIs Its purpose is to alleviate pain and decrease inflammation in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis ankylosing spondylitis and osteoarthritis Additionally it provides relief from muscle pain back pain toothache and pain in the ear and throat The NSAID component diclofenac works by blocking chemical messengers that are responsible for causing pain and inflammation On the other hand the PPI component rabeprazole helps prevent damage to the lining of the stomach that can be caused by diclofenac Before taking this medication it is important to consult with your doctor for proper guidance and advice
