The recommended usage for Tearfilm Eye Drop is as needed Follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor Wait for a minimum of 1015 minutes before administering any other medication in the same eye to prevent dilution If the seal on the bottle is broken do not use it Prior to usage always wash your hands and avoid touching the dropper end to prevent eye infection This medication may need to be used for an extended period and can be taken safely as long as required The most common side effects of this medication include blurred or altered vision redness or irritation and occasional eye pain If you experience any of these symptoms inform your doctor although they are usually temporary It is advisable not to drive operate machinery or engage in activities that require clear vision until you are confident that you can do so safely If your condition does not improve or if the side effects become bothersome consult your doctor This medication is unlikely to interact with other medicines you may be using However inform your doctor if you have a history of glaucoma Avoid using it while wearing soft contact lenses and contact your doctor if you develop an eye infection while using this medication
